It's back Flora Cooking with Schools

Last year some MSEs helped my daughters special needs school collect Flora vouchers codes which the school can then exchange for cooking equipment. As food is a material that all children at her school can get some benefit from, whatever their disability, we are keen to raise as many vouchers as possible. Last year the school were able to purchase some bowls, sieves, scales and wooden spoons and this year would like to try and get one of the larger items, which of course needs more vouchers.

If you do have any spare voucher codes would you please consider donating them to her school, they really do work hard to enhance the childrens school experience and provide them with as many positive experiences as they can.

Flora "cooking for schools" tokens (a request please) 2010
After last year's "cooking for schools" offer, Flora are running the same campaign and it's just re-started & the flashed packs are starting to appear in supermarkets.

2 years ago loads of MSErs very kindly PM'd me their spare codes which added to my children's school's total. This boosted our school's total significantly and meant the school was able to purchase bowls, spoons & other cooking utensils. Last year we were a little more organised & set our sights a little higher for a hob & just managed to collect enough tokens. This year we'd like to aim for the portable oven so that we can cook a greater range of foods with the children.

I am asking again this year if any kind MSErs have spare codes from their flora margerine tubs, would they mind PMing me the codes & I'll take them in to my local school. The codes can be found on the lining of the 'flashed' flora cooking for schools packs. I know a lot of you will have kids at school and will want to support your own school, that's fine but anyone who isn't connected to a school & would like to help our school, then the tokens are very much appreciated.

I can assure you that the equipment we get from the flora tokens is used within the school. I'm a parent volunteer and I personally have used the equipment several times with different groups of children. My own children have also come home with the products of their cooking lesson too.

Any tokens will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
