so I'm starting my own diary! I've read so many of these diaries that I've been inspired to start my own - so thanks to you all. My first aim is to pay off all the debts - c.cs and next directory and then I want to start saving - going to USA for four weeks next year and it would be nice not to have to worry about money while we were there (and when we come back!)
About me then, I'm 32, married with 2 daughters aged 4 and 7. We run our own business from home - I want the house to be more organised, i want the money to be more organised and want a bit more confidence in myself.
As far as the organising the house is concerned - I've become one of the flyladys and i'm doing quite well. I'm managing a couple of hours of work every day - enough for now until the business opens again (we are seasonal) and then get a bit of housework done before I pick up my youngest from playgroup.
I can't wait to hear all your hints and tips - please share them with me - heres to my first NSD tomorrow!
I've started the £2 challenge and have about £30 in that pot so far. I've opened an xmas account with the skipton and have money going in there each week - despite getting most of my pressies in the salees - i figure its one way of saving money. I have already started getting the supermarket savings stamps as well - first year we are having xmas dinner on our own at home and i want it to be perfect.
I've started on the CCs with a direct debit going in there each week - we get paid each week so it goes out as soon as it goes in.
