Best websites for selling Wedding Dress?

Hi girls I have popped back in for some advice please if I may? I have a plus sized Maggie Sotterro Dress I would like to sell now my big day is over. Its just being stored here and I have no desire to keep it. I looked on ebay but the thought of the scams are putting me off from there and I don'y know of any other reputable places to advertise it on? Its a light gold colour so not everyones 1st choice too as I would assume most people want white?

Any recommendations of where to try or steer clear off would be great if you have any ideas?

Thank you ladies :A

Selling a dress is always hard - there have been plenty of chats on here about it over the last few months. Preloved seems to be the place that most people use although how good or bad it is, I have no idea.

You would always try selling it through the small ads in your local paper too.

Ooh Winnie, PM me with the size and style, I may be interested myself ;)

  • I'm not sure where to sell it but if you advertise it online I would use the designers pic as the main pic then other photos too as when looking for a specific dress many people will recognise "their" dress by the designer photo.
Also give as much detail as possible about it, and add the size and style number/name to the title. Also you might want to say how you have stored it and how you will package it for postage.
Sorry if you think it's obvious but their are so many sellers who must miss out because they dont include enough info.
