Ok i majorly stressing at this time. The situation is this. I have a dormant Cahoot current account which is very rarely used. Today i recieved an email from Cahoot stating i had been sent a secure message which could only be checked by logging into cahoot.
I did as i always did and closed all browser windows then went direct to the website and logged in. It said i was now near £400 overdrawn. My forst reaction was WHAAAT?!?!?! Looking at my statement it says a payment was made to MBNA EUROPE CS on 6th June. I obviously never made this payment.
Now what to do. I have gone through the cahoot site looking for a phone number to report this but cannot find one. I know they are web based but surely in thses instances there has to be a phone number? I have tried to contact MBNA but i get lost in a computer system and keep end up hearing my balance.
As a last resort i phoned the abbey fraud hotline and got some indian call centre who said it was nothing to do with them and i should phone cahoot direct. No he did not have the number.
So any ideas before i scream? I woant to speak to a human, I have used the cahoot contact us facility but cant help wondering if there is another way. VERY VERY frustrating!!
Can anyone please help?

The user agreement lists 0870 6000 655 as the contact number. It's also under the "about us" tab0

Most credit/debit cards have a stolen/fraud/customer helpline number on the back. Even if it gets you to the wrong deparpment they should be able to transfer you. If the number begins 0870 and there is an overseas number, use that instead, (omit 44 and replace with zero.)

It could also be a payment made from your Cahoot account to a MBNA Credit Card. That's what mine always is. You say your Cahoot account is very rarely used, which means it is still used sometimes. It may be that you've forgotten that you paid a payment for a credit card from this account and forgot about it.0
