Frugal Ollie's attempt at Money Saving~

So, I've decided that it's time for a fresh start. A few people have told me that they feel "2010 is your year" and for once I agree. =D

Went off to a bad start, I broke up with my girlfriend in the first weekend of the year, but we're really good friends, even now - it's just odd to think that we're not together. My main focus at the moment is on debt busting, but I am also working on my list of http://olliegami.blogspot.com 101 things in 1001 days. Some of which help toward the Debt Free Wannabe cause.

Today is the start of all this, I think. Marked by a NSD, and a £5 win on Bingo that means I've withdrawn £14.25 for free! In the past I used to instantly think "Oh, great that's a take away for me!" but now I'm thinking "and extra few quid to throw at my debts." so I think I've taken a real leap forward as far as the psychology goes!

I've snowballed my debts, and am pleased to say the date I've been given is April 2012, but I want to smash that date to bits. My only real vices at the moment are my mobile phone (I can upgrade it from the 3rd of February, but I'm tempted to get rid of the contract and use pay as you go, but I'm a real gadget geek! Not sure what to do.)

I'm also a member of a gym of recent - I really want to make the most of it, and lose weight! I'm determined, and I also think that the gym will be good for me to socialise and avoid spending money.

Anyway, that's all for me today. Hoping to have an early night so that I can get into town to post some stuff that sold on ebay and amazon! ^^; YAY!
