hi everyone

i have been driving since july 2001 as a named driver on my husbands policy we have had no accidents so there is more than 9 years no claims.

my question is i have split from my husband but my car is still insured on his policy i have been looking at my own policy but as i have no no claims of my own its so high (£55 a month for a t reg punto) can anyone recomend anywhere thats cheaper and is there anything i can do about 8 years accident free driving??

Have you tried the company that your husband was insured with? Some like Direct Line offer named drivers a no claims discount with them. I think Admiral do it too.

i have phoned them and the wont do anything for me, at the moment we are with swinton who have quoted me £650 a year lol its not like im 17 either im 30 haha
