Lifestyle Tv- Misold lease on equipment
18 months ago I was sold 4 diamond crystal screens for my salon by a company called Lifestyle TV. We were to have advertising put on them to generate an income and pay for the screens. This never happened and lifestyle disappeared. When approaching the leasing bank-Bank of Scotland- they said I had signed a form saying lifestyle had nothing to do with the screens. This was never signed and simply copy and pasted from a confirmation check. This has left me with 4 useless screens and costing me £350 a month. The bank wont class it as fraud until the police are brought in and they say its a civil matter. There are 100's of salon owners in the same position. What do we do? This is going to put me out of business!!

Thanks, I've posted on that forum for about a year now but none of us have got antwhere. Tried here on the off chance someone might have any thing else to say. This is really frustrating with the banks but think I'll go back to the police. Appreciate to reply though.Thanks

From that thread it appears that over the course of a year numerous salons, a trade mag, trade body, the police, various financing firms, two high profile TV shows, legal professionals and trading standards have been involved. I think every possible angle has been covered!

Did you all get together and get group legal advice? Did you actually agree to the main leasing contract?
