just been speaking to them on the phone trying to find a home for some funds maturing early Feb and was told that this is already oversubscribed and will be closing 'imminently' - so get in quick!!

All three Bucks bond issues only lasted a day or so.
The first being LAST Friday 15th Jan.
Pot luck really if you got any of them.

Can anyone confirm this for me, I opened the account with £100 I can then setup a standing order from my bank account to this account for x amount each month or just transfer x amount within a opening period.

Sorry brain not in gear today over 30mins on phone to tiscali/talktalk but thats another story.

Applied by post on Saturday.

Just called and they have only received it yesterday - yeah, right. They have offered me issue 4 (3.5%) and and I told them I wasn't interested. Sounds like a bit of a scam to me...

You realise that there are no collections on Saturday, except from main POs?

...... may be true in your area Ray, but not all ....... we have collections from boxes until midday Saturday.
