Ulster Bank Pathway Account Blocked

2 weeks ago I opened an Ulster Bank Pathway account. However, when I tried to log on online all I would get is a message saying that it is not possible to show the account details and that I should phone the bank which I did. I was subsequently told that there was a block on the account, which was unusual, and that I would need to speak to a certain manager on the Concerns & Queries helpline in the day as they did not know why there was a block nor could they lift it. It was also suggested that I write a letter to the manager.



On phoning the Concerns & Queries helpline I was told that the manager was not available and that could not understand why I was told to phone them and ask for this manager and neither did they know why the block was on the account.
Neither have I received a reply to the letter I sent.
