Asking for an upgrade?!

I've just had a look at my account online and discovered that my next bill will be my 11th bill. Even though I didn't recieve my handset until mid September due to no stock, would I be entitled to ask for an upgrade?

Another issue may be that I am entitled to claim cashback by sending Septembers bill. For some reason, onestopphoneshop classed my October bill as the first bill. Would the cashback be honoured if I started a new contract with the same network?

Thanks!

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the length of mobile contracts. When you agree to a 12 month contract, that is the minimum term and it does not magically cease when the 12 months have elapsed. If you negotiate a better deal with your provider i.e. an upgrade or more minutes for less money etc. you are basically continuing your present contract, not starting a new one.
