Working from home options?

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone is aware of any work from home opportunities that are around? At the moment I work part time and my daughter attends nursery. Looking at my finances it hardly seems worth it. I am about £1,500.00 in debt and it's driving me mad with worry. So, please if you know of anyway or means one can earn extra income please let me know. My husband works full time but our marraige is very unstable and money is one thing we do not agree on....basically, I cannot ask him for anything. Any help will surely be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi mother of one! Unsure whether you are wanting to WFH instead of your current job, or in addition to. Bearing in mind however, that you have childcare to pay for, why not become a childminder. As you work PT at the mo, it wld be feasible to fit in the mandatory training required whilst continuing in yr part time job, prior to commencing as a childminder. Don't know how you wld feel about having a house ful of children, but brings the double blessing of being at home with yr child whilst earning a reasonable income at the same time. As there is flexibility, you would have the option to earn more than you possibly do now.
If yr PT hours are on regular days, this means that you cld childmind on the other regular days if you wanted to do both together.
Hope this helps.0 -

i do some babysitting and house cleaning for £6 an hour

I've just applied for and been offered a job with AQA. http://www.aqa.issuebits.com/vacancies.htm
They aren't recruiting in the UK at the moment, but this does change very quickly so its worth keeping an eye on.
You work from home, whatever hours you want, whenever you want, as much or as little as you want. I can't tell you what its like because I haven't started yet but there are few people over on DFW who do it so if you are interested may be worth an ask over there.0 -
It depends, if you give up work and have little one at home, you could try betterware, avon, kleeneze, this could bring in some money, but more pin money than anything.
Mystery shopping for market research companies is a possibility, although you would need someone to mind little one, and again pay not great or guaranteed.
Childminding does seem the most likely as there is good money in it although do expect it to be tiring, what you put up with your own child through love isn't always as easy with someone elses!
Good luck with everything, including marriage probs, just out of interest, if you child is just past their first birthday, if it gives any comfort everyone I know had marriage hicups soon after the first birthday, I think it is a combination of return to work, end of honeymoon period of a child, a more demanding child and suddenly realising the couple that once was is now a threesome and that takes some adjusting!!0 -
