Hi - first time poster here!
I am wanting to do my direct access course (motorbike), and also this year get my driving licence.
When it comes to insurance and bad credit ratings, what problems am i going to come up agaisnt? in the sense will I always get rejected or are there some companies which don't do a credit check?
Thanks

Hi there
The purpose of the credit check is to see whether you are a "good risk" for direct debit. You should still be able to get insurance with a poor credit rating, but may have to pay the premium all in one go.
It may be worth looking at the guides on this site about improving your credit rating for the future, but for now you should expect to be either paying your premium all in one go or getting stupidly high quotes for credit! In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
Sorry - Another thought - I am pretty sure that Aviva allow you to opt out of the credit check...... I could be wrong.....In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0

Thanks Oscar -
I did find a site, staveleyhead.co.uk - have you heard of them? as they say direct debit with no credit check.
How would I go about finding out if they are a decent company, as I done a google search and not found much on them.0 -
Most companies don't do a full credit check. You shouldn't have any problems. All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0
