Halifax Reward Current Accounts?

Is it possible to open two Halifax Reward Current accounts, put £1000 into each, and set up a standing order from one to the other each month to receive the £5 every month?

You can hold one account in sole name, and another in joint names.

That's your lot!

(unless you held accounts prior to November, when you can have 3 in sole name and 1 in joint!).

More sensible would be to have the £1000 in a savings account and cycle it quickly through the 2 Reward accounts. Or use £250 and move it into each 4 times. Or any similar combination.

My wife and I opened 3 accounts each in sole names about six months ago. Anyone any idea if they would now allow us to open a joint account. Have slight apprehension as do not want to appear greedy (though I am!) or losing what we already have.
