Dads pit pension

Hi i could do with a bit of advice please , my dad recieves a pit pension and i am just wondering when anything happens to him would it come to me if i am the next of kin at that time he has recently lost his wife ( not my mum though) they were only married 12 weeks before she sadly passed away and its just something i thought about as i am the one dealing with all the paper work now he gets abit confused as his wife used to do all the paper work

Emma it depends on his pension scheme - there may be provision for dependent children to receive something. However if you are asking if his pension will pass to you (as an adult) then I would think that very unlikely.0
