People would be so desperate for work that pay rates for things like cleaning which you can do for the most part without experience or qualification would get bid down.
.
I'm more interested in the hypothetical "what would happen if the Torys abolished the minimum wage", my own feeling is that it would have no impact on the number of people employed. In a similar way, I suspect that abolishing social housing would have less impact on housing in the short term than some people think, because there would still be exactly the same number of houses in existance. In the longer term, without minimum standards on living quality imposed is the state, I suspect housing quality would go down accross the board.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

We've already had Local Authorities and Housing !!!'s refusing to buy up flats etc from private builders, even on the cheap as they couldn't sell them, precisely because most of them are not up to standard!! ie rooms too small, don't meet EU minimam requirements, dogdy work, electrics. If the state won't buy them on the cheap then no lay person is going to invest are they! :rolleyes:0 -

That is a classic Daily Wailism, a few apparent negative facts with no detail (e.g. is it a new car or very old, why does he receive public funds).
You forgot to add:
