Lizzie's ramblings on the road to riches - 2010 will be my year

Hello everyone, welcome to my shiny new diary for a shiny new year.
I will update all my sigs shortly when I've done some maths and assessed the damage the festive period has done.
I have 3 main aims for the first 3 months of this year:
1. To pay off the remaining balance of my student mastercard which currently stands at £350ish
2. To make a significant dent in clearing my student overdraft which is almost up to its limit of £2000 before I move in with OH.
3. To save enough money to pay for 12 months car tax in July.
So this is the start of a new era in my finances. I'm paying nearly £20 a month in interest on my overdraft and that's got to stop, it has to go. So any hints at getting rid of it will be most gratefully received.
Lots of Love xxxxxxx

Well we have plenty of snow here today, not quite enough to bring the whole city to a standstill, but there's lots of schools closed and roads closed.
The snow has stopped for now, but we'll see what the afternoon brings.
I've managed to sort most of my room out, one load of washing in, had some breakfast, but now I've sat down I'm struggling to get motivated again. Need to prepare for my PGCE interview on Thursday by reading a children's book and researching behaviour management strategies. And I'm picking OH up from work at half 5 as we have a viewing on a house so I'm hoping the weather stays as it is now.
I think I'll go for a shower and get dressed, then I'll feel more awake and ready to get on with the day.
Take care in the snow xxxxxxNatwest CC: £389.07 (limit £500)
