Hi,
I've been to the london theatres on these deals for the last few years and thought I'd pass the website on to you all. Hope you find it helpful.:D
The website is: http://www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk/kids/week
For two weeks from 18 August – 1 September 2006, Kids Week returns to London's West End for the ninth year running.
The Kids Week deal is simple: One child (aged between 5 and 16) can go free to any participating show when accompanied by a full paying adult, and another two children can go for half price. :j
There will be a fantastic line up of shows participating this year including, Chicago, Babe, The Sheep-Pig, Blood Brothers and Mary Poppins.
Booking lines for shows and events open at noon on the 25 July 2006
You have to get in really quick to get your tickets as they are zapped up very quickly.
There are also lots of other events going on tied in with the theatre tickets, dancing beforehand, meet the cast, etc. etc. I'm not sure exactly what they are doing this year, but I'm sure the website either has it up now or will have soon.
Last year when we went to the Lion King they had a 30 min activity before the actual play..my kids loved it. One of the characters came on and explained what some of the african words in the songs meant in english, they had a singalong too.
Have a fun time ! :j
