Generally they won't renegotiate after survey but that's not always the case.0 -
Do what we did i did not have to prove i had the money i made an offer had the Solicitor lined up i did however had a survey completed before and I got my Solicitor to contact the agent saying this is the final offer and we will exchange within 24hours take it or leave it. The agent bit my hand off took it less then we orginal agreed and completed within 24hours i did not have to show the agent anything!0

I had the survey done before, the agents where trying to be funny with me as we did not move as quick as they wanted we then said fine we would look else, and they withdrew our offer. Still advertising it. When cash was in bank ready to go we got our solictor to ring there solictor as the money was in the bank and i had a survey completed i did not need to wait to complete. So as i say exchange within 24 hours or we will pull out and guess what they did as they did not want to lose the sale trust me it works. I told someone else this and they have done the same there property was sold to the ex and had money in bank went via the solictors not to the agent and got the house cheaper than orginally advertised and agreed, at the end of the day money talks.0
