GHD Hair curling

I have very long hair at the moment but I'm on the verge of cutting it all off because I don't know what exciting things to do with it!
My hairdresser said I could try curling it with my ghd's - has anyone done this and how easy is it, I don't normally do much to my hair as my two children take my time up but xmas day I would like the wow factor just once :-)

It's very easy to do! But hard to explain how to do it! I'm sure someone more useful will be along to tell you!!

GHD have videos on their website that you can follow. https://www.ghdhair.com
But the easiest way I can describe it is to take a section of hair, (the thinner the section the tighter the curls, the bigger the section, the wavier), and just twist the straighteners like in a circle in the hair, but pulling the hair out as you go along?
Does that make any sense?! LOL
Maybe even search you tube?

GHD curls are something that I can't do - much to my annoyance.
Some really good tutorials on youtube though!0 -
it is easy with a little bit of practice, basically u clamp a small section og hair then turn the straigtners 180 degress and slowly glide sown the hair. the slower it is done and on a smaller section of hair the tighter the curl becomes
its easier to section the hair first to make it more managable
good luck!0 -
Its the only way I can get my long thick hair to curl and to stay in

its kinda hard to describe - i liken it to when ur making ribbon curls with scissors lolLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
Does everyone who does the GHD curl use any kind of spray or just do it natural??0

Heat defense spray to stop heat damage, the once curled used a hairspray.

Just remember- if your using the wide plate versions with this its going to be a bit harder then with the normal or thinner version types!0

i got my hair done for free by some people from chalres worthington, and the lady spritzed my hair with some salt spray, got a small piece of hair and then flipped the ghds up, pulled it down and twisted it with her finger at the end. Looked really good in the end but i have the thick ghd's so i doubt it will work as good..
I was watching the videos on youtube, theyre quite handy!0
