Possibly TUPE'd in March 2010, How is my "bonus plan" affected

My company has lost an important contract which I am working on, there will still be a need for the new company to carry out the work which I am currently doing, location will maybe be about 40 miles of a difference from my current office.

My current company rewarded me for excellent performance by allocating me shares which were to be delivered over the next 4 years. 2nd installment is due in April 2010 just after the apparent "changeover".

I pay tax on my shares as their value is viewed as a cash amount.

If I am TUPE'd where do I stand with respect to these shares, the actual amount at stake still to be paid to both myself and my wife (she's a good worker too) stands at around £2500 worth.

If it's of relevance I have a login for a share site run by a broker which shows my shares and the dates they will be allocated, the presence of this "agreement" cannot be questioned.

My wife does a different job from me but it will be partially be affected by the lost contract.

Can I ask what the position would be if :

- Wife is asked to move to another office where there is more work
- I am Tupe'd to another location.

And it's completely impossible for us both to live together for both these things to happen ? Is there any "marital" rights in TUPE ?

Oh and she's also on Maternity leave til September 2010.

Thanks.
