Piecework and JSA

I have seen a job advertised which I am going to apply for. It could have been designed just for me
Only drawback is, from reading the advertisement (was on the JobCentrePlus website) is that it's not guaranteed full time work. It's home based audio typing and proof reading and you are paid by the job.
I am not sure how the rules work (have only recently become unemployed and have only signed on once). Will I still be able to claim JSA (obviously not the full weekly amount) if I do get this job and how would I claim?
Do they still ask "have you done any paid work in the past two weeks" these days? Would they work out any JSA "balance" due on the gross or nett amount I earned?
Or is it the case that if you take on any job, your eligibility to claim JSA ceases?

Would you be classed as self employed as this would likely disallow your claim altogether.
However if it is PAYE per job you can work part time and declare your earnings each week, which as you say will be knocked of your JSA. It used to be you could work upto 16 hours a week without being signed off.

please be careful. 90% of these work at home jobs ask for an upfront training or materials fee and you will never see any pay. They are scams.
