Flights to PHX

I'm being thick, any one tell me the best place to book a flight for 2 adults and 2 children LHR-PHX 31MAR07 back 13APR07 best price so fare for all of us is 1742.00 with air canada (with a 12 hour lay over in YYZ).

The reason i'm being thick is i used to work for an airline and could get some great fares from a travel agent in manchester who is linked to delta but i can't remember their name.

    Try Trailfinders

BA fly direct to PHX, but I wouldn't recommend them.

AA and others fly indirect, Delta are usually cheap.

I am flying to PHX in Sept with BA. They are the only one who do a direct flight from London. We got return tickets for £440 each. My BF flew with BA on the same route last year and was really impressed.....or we wouldnt be flying with them this year!!
Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!
:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!

Maybe I'm missing something but why wouldn't you recommend BA? One of the best airlines in the world in terms of in-flight service and with the exception of Virgin Upper Class, without doubt the best transatlantic. American airlines (all of them) are like cattle trucks by comparison.

My personal choice of airlines is United.
I try everything to avoid BA or Virgin if possible.
The reason - perks as a frequent flier.
I can fly 25.000 miles on United on their cheapest economy fare and get a free return flight in Economy.
With BA, I would have to fly either as full fare, or do 10 times as many trips.
Also, the rewards I get as a frequent flier as far better than any other airline at present.
    I get 6 free upgrades a year transatlantic/pacific.

As I see it, its a total no brainer as far as perks/upgrades go.

Sounds like you fly business and Upper class?

BA economy is expensive and cramped, AA economy is cheaper and bigger.

I would prefer not to fly BA (and i did work for them in the past).

Air Canada, seems the cheapest option so far, but the last few times i travelled (in the late 90's go i seem old) was with Delta and Continental they both seemed okay.

    Regards

What happens with customs on Air Canada if you are going to the US. Do you have to go through Canadian Customs and US Customs or is Canada not bothered if you are going on to the US?

Have flown Heathrow to Phoenix several times with BA. No problems whatsoever. Better in flight entertainment than AA but less leg room. Just about the only transatlantic flight with BA we have used, usually use Virgin or AA.
