Holiday entitlement

Hello everyone.
Last year I worked full time however in Jan my hours were cut to two full days a week, and so i worked out that my holidays meant i would have 11 days to take off.
However in September my hours went up to 3 days a week and since November I have been full time because they've gone up am i entitled to a few more extra holiday days?
Also even if i still have the minimum holiday of 11 days i've only taken 6 so far and so have 5 left. I asked to take them the week before christmas and my employer refused I then asked to take them for the week in between xmas and new year again for them to be refused, is there anyway he has to let me take one of these weeks off?
Thank you for any help.

Yes - you should be entitled to more holiday. It would essentially be pro-rated for the different periods.
They don't have to let you take the holiday at a certain time I'm afraid, but you need to talk to them and check that they'll let you carry them over or pay you in lieu.0 -
If your leave year started in January, then you would divide the no. of days' leave your employer gives by 12, then by 5, then multiply that answer by the number of days you are working, then by the number of months you worked that number of days, and add those numbers together.
So you'd have 28/12/5 x 2 x 8 for January to August (2 days per week), 28/12/5 x 3 x 2 for September and October, and 28/12 for December.
Ask when it will be convenient to take your leave.Signature removed for peace of mind0
