Grants for training (whilst in full time employment?)

Does anyone know if anything exists ?
Basically my company will be upgrading software in the new year, but due to a limited budget it doesn't look as thought training will be provided(it looks like it will be a teach ourselves kind of a job)
The software in question is 3ds Max - I would be willing to pay up to half of the fee for training, as it benefits me too - was just wondering if their was any kind of grant that I could apply for / the company could, that would enable me to reduce the cost further
