Welcome car finance PPI reclaim

Hi, I have sent my 1st letter to reclaim PPI and have had a response from welcome with a question sheet in which the want me to return within 1 week, they have not refused to pay (like I expected!) do I just fill it in and return or go on to next letter? The questions are things like 'when did you first become aware you had a complaint' 'please provide details about the job you had at time of policy and any other PPI you have had in past.

    Hi there
Welcome does normally send these questionnaires as a procedure and believe others may be following on.

Many say its a stalling tactic, but what I would do in "my opinion" is answer the questions to the best of your knowledge.

Tell them if this is the case, only recently from the media, which encouraged you to check through your documents.

And then if questions on mis selling tell them (please refer to my letter you received, where you will see my reasons).

And if your account is still running, or have been in the last 6 years they should actually still hold your information.
You can always tell them (I believe you still hold my details from when you sold me the loan/pp, please refer to them).

They still have 8 weeks to respond in full as from your original letter.
Good luck and please keep us posted.;)

We complained to welcome about mis selling of ppi we also received this questionnaire we filled it in to the best of our ability and though it did seem to take a while we received a letter about 10 days ago to say they are going to issue the refund, dont lose hope by having this questionnaire it seems to be standard with welcome and good luck
