Free day's holiday!

..so after Man City's progression to the semi final of the league cup I've emailled my teams and told them that if they get to the final, the Man City fans amongst us get a free day off to enjoy the game  C'mon City!

But non-supporters don't get the day off? I don't think that would go down too well!

I'd become a man city supporter for the day!

Tbh thats proper out of order for the non man city fans, it shows favouritism and tbh is more likely to cause you more hassle than its worth.

    Troll post, don't be baited...
  • We have a quarterly achievement award too - the person who's nominated gets a week off on the company's time and packed off to somewhere in the Carribean. Is this wrong too?

You have not answered the question - will everybody be getting the day off, or just those that say they are Man City supporters?
    Gone ... or have I?

Just the Blues. It means they can enjoy their day in "that London" and some reward for putting up with the misery for so many years! There are 6 of them.

You need to be careful with this, especially if more men will be able to take advantage of your offer than women, it could fulfil the definition for indirect discrimination.

It is a great gesture, but you are on dangerous ground not offering the benefit to everyone.

    I predict a post :

    Hi

My boss as allowed everyone who supports Man City to be off today as its the cup final.

I don't like football and don't support Man City and he says I have to work.

    Can he do this?
Can I quit and claim JSA?
    Is against my human rights?
    Can I claim compensation?

  • It is a nice gesture I thought.. The thing is I'd like to go to, so I'll have to take it as proper leave.. and of course something similar will be done for the non MCFC fans! although it's all dependent on them getting to the final!
