that's the horrible thing, damned if you do, damned if you don't, what can you do

Apply some common sense perhaps?"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
aww come on you can do better than that. sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, can you even get any lower.
Who said I was being sarcastic?
You think that someone stating that one should exercise common sense means that they are being sarcastic?
Seriously?
Oh my goodness - the lunatics really have taken over "One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

Mrcow really, any need for this, its stating the bleeding obvious, of course people would use common sense, but would be worried doing right for doing wrong, calling me a lunatic is really pushing it.Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0 -

I never called you a lunatic :rotfl: You are reading what you want to read.
As for being worried for doing wrong - since when? If I saw anyone in distress (young or old) I wouldn't htink twice about stepping in.
It's not "dammed if you do, dammed if you don't" - just apply your common sense and do what is required. As you would have done ten years ago. As you would have done fifty years ago!"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

Being a parent and a !!!phile at the same time is more serious than being a pervert and "hobbyist" alone.
A child expects pure love and any other than that would have a devastating effect on the child´s psyche.

Well, i went to our friends baby's first birthday party this weekend. Our little 5 month old went along and I took my SLR, complete with big flashgun and diffuser.
I took some lovely pictures of the kids playing and our son sitting on the bouncy castle. No one complained (they posed their kids for photos) and the parents want copies of the photos.
Not everyone lives in 'Daily mail paranoia' land0 -
It doesn't. None of what Paprika has posted does.
It would seem that everyone else can see that......
Are we to look forward to another irrelevent story about !!!!!philes any time soon I wonder?
Honestly, there is always at least one who cannot accept other viewpoints!
Well, despite the fact most people can see that, and I think we are on the same wave length with this one, I feel I must disagree with you because we have clashed on other threads (more than once, and it's been quite heated in fact).:rolleyes:
And while I am at it, PrincessPlaty, it may have looked like I was agreeing with you earlier, but as you and I have also clashed before, I now have to retract all that.:rolleyes:
You are both talking absolute rubbish and I hate the pair of you for not always seeing things my way!
:rotfl:
I hope that is ok - you know how it is - once an enemy, always an enemy...

of course but following the announcement of Huntley's conviction, it emerged that various authorities were aware of allegations, from a number of sources, that he had committed one act of indecent assault four acts of under-age sex and three rapes. he was known, proper checks were not carried out which allowed him to carry on with 'alleged' acts.
So now allegations should be enough to ruin someone's career and reputation?
Seems like an effective way of dealing with someone if you ask me - had an argument with a school caretaker? No problem, just accuse him of indecent assault and voila, his career's over. From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0
