in Credit cards
I emailed them last month to cancel my subscription and they emailed me 5 days later to say my request has been actioned and i will not be charged anymore!
Now today iv noticed they have charged me £12 and iv been charged a further £12 as i bought an expensive purchase on the card and call credit made me go over my limit
now do you think if i request they pay the default i occured due to them, they will refund that to meet too?
Man, im FUMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

If the call credit charge is is last one on your statement then can dispute the transaction with your CC with proof and the CC would ideally refund call credit charge and the resultant overlimit charges as well....this way you have another option available particularly if call credit are not very cooperative.0

Plus the information they supply to you is not worth paying for anyway, the vast majority of companies use Experian / Equifax for lending decisions.
This is not to say, however, this won't change the future, they seem to be doing a sterling job of collecting alot of account information at the moment perhaps with a view to becoming a real competitor with the big two.
I apply a £2 statutory report every 6-8 months just to make sure it's accurate.
Anyway, to your original point, I agree with td_007 that you should dispute the transaction with your CC company supplying them with the confirmation from Callcredit that they cancelled your account.
Best of luck, let us know how you get on.

So I contacted them today and the idiots say that they do not know what I am talking about. They insist that they stopped all payments which is a lie because if that is the case why did a payment leave my account last week?
I have contacted my CC provider who have refunded me the late charge and the £12 from callcredit but I do see this being a very long battle with callcredit making me look like a liar
Thank God I keep all correspondence from Callcredit'Sometimes you just need to keep your mouth shut':j0 -

That solves your problem...not sure why you want to go in for a long battle (unless you get charged again next month). Agreed - the response from callcredit leaves a bad taste but no point wasting further time and energy behind it.0 -
I dont want to go into a long battle, my cc company said that callcredit might deny it in which case they will request evidence (the emails from me), thats why i said it could be a long battle!
I have my money back, thats all I wanted, so im pretty much done with call credit!'Sometimes you just need to keep your mouth shut':j0
