judging what to declare to health insurers

Hi, this is my first visit and second thread, so I don't know which subjects have been dealt with. Here goes. Because health-insurers put the onus on applicants/ proposers to decide which conditions to declare & because the insurers have a catch-all clause that, if you don't declare something important, the policy might become void, proposers are between a rock & a hard place. So I sent to one insurer my ENTIRE medical history & asked them to decide what was relevant. They refused & declined me. Questions: 1. has anyone else tried this? 2. is there any way of putting the onus on the insurer? Best wishes.

Sorry, didn't understand this bit "They refused & declined me"
Did they decline you because you sent them the medical history, or because of what was in the medical history.
