a monthly and a yearly would be cheaper. With an annual you would only pay for 40 weeksone of the famous 5

From the National Rail Enquiries website...
Travelling five days a week, a weekly ticket will save you £2.90 (about 58 pence per day).7 Days ........1 Month ........3 Months ........6 Months ........12 Months
£40.10 ........£154.00 ........£462.00 .........£924.00 ..........£1,604.00
A monthly ticket can be purchased for any period over one month.
So if you were to buy a season ticket starting on a Monday and finishing on the Friday at the end of the fifth week, that would cost you £159.20. That's for twenty five days of Mon-Fri travel. So one day would cost you approx £6.37... saving you over two pounds a day.
Buy your next ticket to start on the following Monday to avoid paying for too many Saturdays and Sundays. Don't forget to plan ahead for holidays etc.0 -
