Hello! I would really appreciate any ideas for a secret santa present as I am really stuck. The lady I have to buy for is in her thirties, not very girly and has just had a baby! Not much help I know. I am looking to spend about £10 but am quite flexible and want something a bit different and special, not just smellies! Anyone got any ideas or seen anything special? Thank you

Maybe a cool christmas decoration would go down well - something nice and sparkly or quite humorous -- could be something that the new baby will like as he/she gets older too. That was the best xmas present I received from a colleague - not too personal, but I really liked it so it got pride of place on the tree!0

You should have a look over one the hampers thread, or the crafting for christmas one. There are some amazing, unique ideas over there. It really amazes me how beautiful some of the HM things are! (I just wish I was half as crafty )0

Have you any craft fairs locally.
I had to buy for a Secret Santa (ours is an internet forum and we are just given an address so no idea who we are buying for). I have bought a beautiful hand made bracelet from a craft fair today for less than £10. There was some beautiful pieces.
Just a word of warning if you know who you are buying for and they are a larger lady (like myself) make sure if you buy a necklace the chain is long enough. Kate :hello:0 -
try M&S they have some great things in the under £5 so would think even better for £10 - select the £10 and under tab to the left.
i brought a fab vase for my sister last year (we do £5 pressies for the adults in our family) and i brought one for myself too!

If I had just had a baby I would really like " just me" pressies, maybe follow through a 12 days of Christmas theme?
Bars of choccy, mini bath bubbles ( boots do a great selection 3 for 2), cheap book, that sort of thing, all wrapped in a big box with a label "one a day"0 -
I always make a mini hamper for my secret santa.
Usually a fiver but manage (through shopping around)
Mini bottle of wine
Bar of chocolate
Smellies of some variety
Candle/sIt's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0
