Hi, I posted on here a couple of days ago asking for some advice in developing my OsCommerce website, just wanted to know things like adding pages ect but for some reason my thread has been removed??

any ideas why this would be or where I should post my thread?, I did not get any emails to say it was being removed it just disappeared!

thanks I`ll have a look at that now, Iv read a few tutorials, but when it comes to adding pages I can never do it right and always end up crashing my site

Always copy and paste into notepad when editing, then you can revert back.

Did you check the rules before making your first post? Could you have included anything that looked like advertising? If you did, you could have been reported as a spammer!

I dont think I put anything in my original post? its really strange, I didnt put any links or say what my site was about and it just disappeared..nevermind!

Yes I will try to copy and paste first, I used to do that then I was told to just edit the downloaded file and rename it when saving,think thats where I start to go wrong!

I have seen some other posters asking where various threads have gone! It seems that there is a glitch on MSE. I hope that it hasn't put you off - you could report it on the Site Feedback board.

The Techie board is worth trying for website advice too.
