hi, im after a second opion more then anything if anybody could help please.
my holidays at work run from jan - dec. i work 2 days per wk ( 20hrs)( friday and saturday)
which works out that im entitled to 11.2 days holiday a yr. 1 days hol for every 32 days worked.
i was on maternity leave and went back to work sept 1st, while on m/l i still gain my holidays so thats 7 days hol earned .
now the tricky bit ...sept- dec ( 4months) ive got 4 days left out of my 11 , only now im working fri and sat (2o hrs) one week and just 10hrs (sat) the next week 2-1-2-1-2-1 i hope this makes sence??
so im not entitled to the whole 4 holidays. so my question being out of the 4 what im i entitled to???
i look at it this way.. in them 4 months i will be working half of them 2 shifts and the other half 1 shift so to me out of the 4 holidays i should get 2 ????????
my boss doesnt want to know he agrees with the 7 from mat/leav but then i think its that he just cant get his head around the 4 days. please help thankyou

You worked 4 days over 2 weeks, and now you work 3. You now work 3/4's of your old hours, so 3/4s of your holidays.
So you are on 28 days per year currently - (11.20 days for a 0.20 contract, so 11.20/2 x 5 = 28). 28 days/5 (days)x 1.5 days(per week worked) = 8.4 days holiday ie 3/4's of the 11.2 day you had origionally.
If we are working on 4 Months exactly from September 1st to 31st December then you should get 8.4/3 (4 months is one third of a year) = 2.8 days holiday is what would accrue until the end of the year."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of."
