Help please!!

Hi everyone, just got off the phone to CAB, I applied to go into a DAS scheme through CAB, and noted in my calender that 21 days would be tomorrow after speaking with them they say have a note to look at it on the 20th, then if no objections it will then take another week or so for the administrator to come back to them then they will get in touch with me then and i dont need to call them. Only problem is i am out of my mind with worry and want to know asap whether i have been accepted or not.

Also one creditor wrote to me saying they accept however, first payment will be 3rd of next month i told CAB and they say tough they will get their 1st payment in january as it takes a while to set up, should i be worried?

Thanks probably just worrying as its all i seemed to have done for the last 12 months, any thoughts advice would be great.

Aww Sososad, I didn't want to read and run as you sound like you are going out of your mind.

I'm sorry but I have no knowledge of a DAS, I am presuming it is something like a DMP is it? But I do know from my time on here that now you have involved CAB, I would really try to relax about it. I know its easy for me to say that when I am not in your position but it sounds like the CAB are doing a great job in getting this set up for you and your creditors will just have to accept that.

Try not to stress too much.

Thanks for your quick reply, yes i am going out of my mind and this is hopefully the last option for me, i have been trying to sorty the mess out for nearly a year :eek: . I know CAB have been brill its a long story but back in September i though they had applied only to discover 3 weeks later that they hadnt applied yet!! hence why i think im get impatient. Anyway, dont want to do on but yes DAS is like a DMP in Scotland and DAS protects you from your creditors taking further action against you!!.

Hi SSS, I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is sorted for you, it sounds like you are a lot like me and hate not being in control, I am sure I would feel the same if I were in your shoes, just wanting to know that it is sorted and taken care of.

I would give them a ring on Friday to check that they are on with it, but until then try to put it out of your mind
