signed up a few months ago and my first cashback claim is edging ever closer. but im a little confused. could someone please help me .
it says on the voucher sheet:
"voucher A: redeem by sending in your first voucher 'A' and a copy of your latest airtime bill before the expiry date printed on the front of the voucher. You must have been connected for 5 months"
on the voucher the dates are as follows:
"date issued: 12 03 2006"
"expiry date 08 09 2006"
im confused about the expiry date and the bill i should send!
also, i'm on 02 network, can anyone confirm that i should send in the bill that says 005 in the corner?

Hi
Assuming you took out the contract on 13 March, you should send the latest airtime bill that you have received as at 13 August.
What are your billing dates?0 -
I'm getting cashback from Mobileshop on O2 as well, and it has all gone smoothly so far.
For my 5th airtime bill, I sent in the 5th bill that I received (seems straightforward enough!) and it does indeed have -0005 at the end of the bill number, although I had never noticed that before. Because the first bill comes soon after you start the contract, you haven't actually been connected for 5 months by then, but you have paid for it, and they accepted it for me.
You should get an email from them within a few days saying that they have received it and you can expect your cashback to be paid directly into your bank account in something like 40 days. And then you get another email when they do credit your account. Can't say fairer than that!
They let you send photocopies of your bill (some companies don't) so do that, and I photocopied my vouchers too, before I sent them, just in case. Some people have advocated sending in your voucher by recorded mail in case it gets lost - that's up to you. You have to weigh up the risk of losing it with the expense of recorded delivery. Cynics say that the company can just claim never to have received the voucher but there are a whole load of people who have reported good experiences with this particular company, so I am willing to trust them.0 -
I have personally found Mobileshop to be great with regards to cashback. I would personally recommend them.0

My cashback claim was only twice a year so I sent both by special delivery as they were both for £300 each. They acknowledged receipt the next day and the cheque arrived when they said it would.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)0

You don't send photocopies of the vouchers you just make a copy to keep details of T&C etc which are printed on them. You only send copies of the airtime bills.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)0

That's right. For the bills its says 'a copy of your airtime bill' so I have always sent a bill without any problems. For the vouchers you need to send the originals, but I made a copy of them before, in case of disaster. Don't know if they would accept a copy but if the original got lost in the post I would try it out and see!0 -
So has anyone actually sent a copy of their voucher to mobileshop? I'll be keeping a copy anyway but hoping that I will not need it.0

They appear to be OK unless you have anything slightly out of the ordinary, like porting your number!. I sent my cashback voucher in April and am still waiting. Mobileshop claim that because I ported my number when I signed up last october, BT Mobile haven't paid them their commission yet. Consequently Mobileshop won't pay me until they do. I argued that my cashback contract is with mobileshop not BT Mobile but it falls on deaf ears. Will they ever pay up???
I am not happy!!0
