Balance Transfer Cheques

Hi, I have been sent some balance transfer cheques from the RBS offering 0% for 10 months and no balance transfer fee. I currently have a debt on my rbs credit card. The offer expires in 2 weeks time. My question is if i pay the outstanding balance of my rbs credit card say this week and then transfer a balance from another card next week will there be any interest charges to pay? i.e will there be a small amount of interest charged for this month that will keep on accruing over the 10 month balance transfer period?
Hope this makes sense!
Cheers
