Barclaycard

I went br on the 6th October and I am still getting up to eight calls a day from Barclaycard plus texts, I did not think they could contact me now they have details of br? Last time I spoke to them I was told I was not cooperating because I would not give them details of income and cost of br, I am not sure why that is relevant to them at this point?

I get the same. Don't answer them. Give them your BR number, court name and OR's contact details and if they ring you again say you want to log a complaint. That should put a 2 week stop to the calls. My OR's office told me to just 'stick to my guns' and give the OR time to write out to them (may be up to 4-6 weeks after interview).
If you want to waste even more time, you could send them a copy of your BR Order and a letter saying you don't want to be contacted by phone again.BR 22/10/2009 ED 08/07/20100 -
Having been using this site as a guide through my bankruptcy and now joined.
Out of all my debts barclaycard who i have been with for twenty years were a nightmare.
Calls and text messages all times of day and night. My charges were horrendous and they did noy try to help me at all.
Once you have given them your br details dont even talk to them. They have no right to know how much you earn or how much your br was for. Let the receiver do thier job and put it down to history.
Good luck.
Seems like some good real people here.0 -
Also tell your OR that you are still recieving harrassing calls even after you have told them about your BR.
The OR has up to 8 weeks to inform all your creditors and then it has to filter through the system, which can take weeks.
If you want to have fun with them answer the security questions and then say there is someone at the door and you will be back in a minute. Put the phone down and go and do something nice. Go back in half an hour and I bet they are not there
. By doing this you have tied that line up for half an hour meaning they can't harrass anyone else. They have had to pay for the call, the person to make the call and they have got b@gger all for it. BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

having the same problem with Barclaycard. TBF they were my main creditor, about 5 or 6k. Didn't miss a payment in 7 years but within one missed payment it hit the fan to speak. already rang me twice today. woke me up, infact.
They sent me another letter asking for money today so going to reply to it quoting my number. Heart sank when my OR said it might take 6 weeks for them to contact my creditors, cos i imagine Barclays will be threatening bailiffs or similar by then. So got to act quickly myself before that happens, even though I know I am supposed to/allowed to leave it alone.0
