PSP Comp Win help?

Ive just had an email to say I have won a PSP and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sports Interactive studio. Problem is its in London and I live 300 miles away does anyone have any experience with these types of comps. Will I have to attend in order to get my PSP?

My son actually wanted one of these for christmas too ahhhhh

Hmmm, they've covered themselves haven't they?

    7. Where ShortList Media Ltd runs a competition with a promoter such that the promoter is responsible for the selection and/or the provision of prizes then ShortList Media Ltd shall not be responsible for or have any liability for the provision of such prizes.
    8. Prizes are as stated only and no cash alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not refundable or non transferable. However the promoter has the full and free right to alter arrangements or prizes should circumstances change.

The reason that I asked is that I had a similar thing recently and I pointed out that the T & C didn't say that I had to attend to get the prize and they agreed to send it to me.

It's worth a try, Good Luck, it's a nice prize.

I won a trip to the theatre and some DVD's. I could not make the theatre but they still sent me the DVD's

  • Impossible to say really because I'm guessing all comps are different
I suppose some will post the prize separately whereas others will give the prize on the day.
Sorry I know that's not very helpful. Well done anyway :j
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

Do you have a contact number or an email address? I'm sure they would send the PSP when they realise the circumstances. If not, you could offer the prize to someone on this site on the understanding that the PSP they receive is passed on to you. MSE followers are a decent, honest bunch (generally!)

I recently won a visit to Stamford Bridge, courtesy of Samsung, to tour the stadium, watch Chelsea playing Atletico Madrid away on the large screens in the Samsung VIP suite and have a meal and drinks. Unfortunately, I was unable to go but they told me they would send me the MP3 player which was also part of the prize.

  • I won a trip to Twickenham for the rugby, which included 2 shirts, but we broke down on the way, the guy sent us the shirts which we were picking up once we got there.

I personally don't enter competitions like that simply because you never know if the 'material' part of the prize will be sent regardless - I think its a bit mean on the others who actually want to win the tour etc.
