MBNA and 21 days wait

Hi there
Quick question.
Anyone applied for an MBNA card recently and been told it will be 21 days wait? If you have received it did you have to wait the full 21 days? I'm just asking because I have waited 16 days already and not heard a squeak. I wanted to transfer my balance before the end of the month so would be useful if it doesn't take too long!

I applied couple of weeks ago and got an instant decision. Card turned up 5 days later. 21 days sounds like quite a while I thought most decisions were done in a shorter time.

It is usually a 7-10 day wait if you get referred. However apparently according to their automated phone line they have had a massive influx of applications and it is now taking 21 days to process applications. I keep backing out before speaking to an operator because I'm sure everyone is now phoning them asking what their status of application is and the automated service before this does answer my question really. I really should stop being a whimp and just speak to an operator lol.0 -
OK just tried phoning...and their phone call queue is massive :rolleyes:0
