£100,000 To Invest

Hi All
I have £100,000 in savings, now my ISA and my wife's is full for this year and i have £10,000 of the above in premium bonds.We have a mortgage fixed rate until 2011.My question is what is best short term as we are thinking of moving house or is it best to invest in Income bonds witch gives me £256 a month @3.95% 1 year bond or it it better to put into a high interest account if there is such a thing as high interest any more.

If you are thinking short term then you shouldnt really be looking at investments. You should stick to savings.
Assuming you do mean savings rather than investments, would a fixed term deposit be suitable seeing as you are thinking about moving house? You dont want to find a house only to have to pull out of a fixed term deposit and pay a penalty for doing so.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
