- For those of you that sell on ebay or via a website, you can get a pre-paid mastercard by Paypal.
It is seriously really useful and has been invaluable to me during my Bankruptcy.

I've been thinking of getting one. Looks like it's a VISA though?BR 22/10/2009 ED 08/07/20100

Yes great idea I have had one through the duration of my bankruptcy as it is a top up card it does not require the necessary credit checks and you can load the card directly from funds you have in paypal account or at post offices and unlike the conventional credit type cards you cannot spend what you have not got...which has got to be good.
I have found it really useful especially with the odd internet transaction where you need a card. Mine is a mastercard0 -
I found the Cashplus Gold card to be the best of the lot.

And don't forget to check on Topcashback or Quidco to see if you will get any money back by applying through them.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Yes, I've been thinking about this of late too. I thought have ing paypal card would be better for me as you can transfer money straight from your paypal account which is handy if you sell anything because to withdraw funds into your account is chargeable.
Does anyone know if Paypal charge you for topping up your card from your paypal balance? I have had a look but can't see the answer in their t&csThere used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -

Quidco currently offering £7 for signing up for a card:DThere used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -
Opened one last night. There's an initial fee of £4.95 (minimum initial top up £5). Topping up from your paypal account is free, but I think there's a fee for topping up other ways. Only want it for paypal funds, so works for me.BR 22/10/2009 ED 08/07/20100

It's good for ebay sellers, I found it a bit pricy to top up the card otherwise.DRO granted 17/10/20090
