Is it just me, or has anyone else experienced this, this morning? Cannot get all BBC channels apart from BBC Parliament channel. Also, no Sky News, Sports News or Sky 3. BBC channels has strong signal but no picture. Sky channels have no signal at all. Most other channels were fine. Am wondering if it has anything with analogue being turned off.

I had exactly the same this morning, then realised it was (not very well publicised) retune day on November 4th.
I retuned my TV and got all my channels back no probs.0 -
Thank you! I did not do that because I thought we did it back in Sept 30.0

Each region is different for Digital TV changeover.
30th September thing was just so Freeview could move channels around nationally to make room for forthcoming Freeview HD channels etc.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

Like I said - easily done because it has not been very well advertised at all. This makes a change from last time when you couldn't watch any "five" channels for a pop-up telling you to retune every 5 seconds! LOL
There is another retune in December as well. Maybe take note of it in your diary now to save you the hassle later when your channels go AWOL again.

The main transmitter at Winter Hill switched off the Bbc 2 signal for analogue and are only sending digital now. Most people shopuld be getting this Ok but there are 70 sub transmitters for some parts of the region which are changing throughout the day.
They said by after lunch everyone should be Ok, they estimate that 98% of viewers in the region have already retuned successfully.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Yes it turns out both my boxes are redundant now! They are OnDigital ones you see. If yours appears on this list, you may have to buy a new one too:

Dont do a retune...restore the box to default settings and this will purge all the old stored channel info and start over again.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
