Holiday over Easter

I'd like to book a holiday for me and my partner over Easter, as a surprise. He's been to the Canary Islands, Spain, Greece etc, but I've never been abroad. He get's a month off over Easter, so we'll have to go sometime then.
I've got no idea where to go...I'm not rich (hence wanting to know an idea so I can start saving). We need to fly from Birmingham.

If you want somewhere warm then only Canaries/Cyprus/Longhaul will be very warm at that time of year.
Dubai should be good at that time of year and Emirates fly from Birmingham. Do you have a budget in mind?0 -
