Majorca accomodation for young family please?

Hi - can someone recommend somewhere good value for us to stay next easter. We'll be arriving into Palma late (10.30pm), and have five more days. We were looking for somewhere that the 7 & 5 year olds can play happily in a pool or whatever - to be honest, that's pretty much all we need. We weren't planning on renting a car - but I'll take advice from you guys. I could do half board if it's cheap - but S/C would be my probable option.

Thanks, in advance.

The Aparthotel Fontanellas Playa in Palma is £230 s/c or £350 half board for five nights around then and is near the airport and beach and highly rated for young families http://www.booking.com/hotels/hotel/es/el-arenal/h-a-fontanellas-playa.html?sid=6d0853714385e26e83948f2d2493285b

Sorry - five of us. One is an infant. Budget no more than £65/night for S/C - a little more for half board or whatever. March 28-April 2. Thank you so much!

This place looked really nice - although I did read some not very good reviews on Tripadvisor (not that ANYWHERE escapes the curse of tripadvisor!). Unfortunately the price came up as quite a bit higher than the £230 figure.

How about Viva Palmanova 4 stars in Palmanova
Priced at 220.40 accom only for the dates you want
If you add on all inclusive it only comes to 356.40 € (looks like a mis-price on website)
    http://www.hotelsviva.com/en/hotel/viva-palmanova.html

Or www.travelrepublic.co.uk have it at £207 self catering.

This would be a fab deal! But I think it's only coming up as one nights worth of All-Inc. I wonder if perhaps they don't offer all inclusive in March???

I can't remember the name of the hotel, but I do remember the place I stayed in, is Puerto Pollensa. Think you may need to do a transfer to the airport and back, but the town is nice and quiet and the hotel I was at was near the beach (which was gorgeous) and had a pool that was well maintained and a kiddies pool for the little ones. Also, it was nice enough to be able to walk around, still a little touristy but still quite Spanish in nature (there's also a decent supermarket and down one of the back alleys theres a chemist with all the stuff you need, including stuff for diarrhoea and that if the worst comes to the worst) We went S/C but we paid for flights too.

http://www.alpharooms.com/pollensa_mar_in_puerto_pollensa-gallery.aspx - think this is the one....not sure on price but as family of four you may get it cheaper than we did. It is lovely, so clean and lovely, the staff were so friendly and everything

But it's still only e220.40 for s/c for the five of you for 5 nights which is still very cheap (baby cot included). Great find by sloppy chops. Doubt you will find anything of this * rating any cheaper.
