Egyptian Cotton Sheets

Hope this is the right thread for this...

GF keeps banging on about them, so it's worth buying them, just to shut her up :p

Trying to save as much as we can at the moment, so does anyone know of some John Lewis standard ones, not at John Lewis prices.

Many thanks

P.S DOes anyone know how this thread count malarky works:confused:

TK Maxx often has Egyptian Cotten bedding in their stores. Not specifically John Lewis though. I have it and it is lovely.

It's the thread count that makes the difference. Some Egyptian cotton sheets can have a low thread count and feel like sacking.

heard that on the radio this morning - sorry for not helping the thread!!

I bought a pair of Egyptian cotton pillowcases from Matalan, they're very harsh and not all the creases will come out after washing.
