Hi all,
Right, I'm going to start a diary to motivate me to become debt free before March 2015. I reduced it my four months as my OH paid off my overdraf. :j
I'm on a dmp with payplan and since having my lbm, things are certainly looking a lot clearer and it feels as if a tonne has been lifted off my shoulders.
Since discovering this site, I've started doing daily clicks, surveys, listing books on greenmetropolis, meal planning and making use of the food in my cupboards and freezers.
From reviewing last weeks spending most of my pennies has been spent on the occasional sweet treat from the supermarket, magazine and a few more sweet treats. That's something I'm pleased to say has been cut back - I take my own lunch to work and make sure there are some sweet snacks in there. I also discovered E! enterainment which enables me to get my daily gossip fix.
My aim is to bring my debt free date forward by three years.:eek: Challenge or what, but I think with the help of this site, it's doable and I've got a supportive partner. We've had some good news today, our mortgage payments have reduced by £63 - not much, but we're in negative equity so in fairness the mortgage company could have raised our payments. but they didn't yeah!!!
The money that I save will be put into a savings account and then once a year, will be used to make a payment to payplan.
Anyway enough of my ramblings, I'm off to have a glass of baileys.

Thanks Numpty Monkey. It does help having a partner who;'s very supportive and wants to help me get debt free.
Getting on track is easy, it's the staying on it that's going to be the hard part! But as they say Rome wasn't built in a day and I don't expect to clear £11k of debt in a day - that would be impossible, unless I won a large sum of money that is! :rotfl:
Today I've done the following:
* Not put the heating on - even though it's dark, wet and windy outside.
* Bought in my own lunch - soup and some fruit.
* Checked online banking - the money for payplan has come out and have £90 to last me until payday.
* Moved £2.17 from our joint account into our savings account - only so there's a round number in the joint account. HOw sad am I? :rotfl::rotfl:
Throughout the course of the day, I aim to do the following:
- Daily clicks on topcashback and quido.
- Surveys on onepoll.
- Read online newspapers.
- Have a store cupboard tea.
- Not put the heating on.
- Wrap up some of the Christmas presents that I've bought throughout the course of the year.
- Have a nsd.
- Leave the baileys alone, so I don't start attacking the chocolates in the cupboard.
Keep smiling everyone!

Morning all who follow
I'm in a fairly jovial mood today, as firstly it's Friday and with 5 days to go until pay day I still have £90 in my account and all my bills have been paid.
Checked how much I've earnt from my daily clicking and I'm getitng the grand sum of 3p from Quidco. :rotfl: Topcashback is £18.25 - I used them for Purple Parking and a few other bits and bobs!!!
So far today I've done the following:
- Resisted the urge to put on the heating.
- Done my daily clicks.
- Worked on some of my crafty Christmas presents.
- Bought my own lunch in.
I also aim to do the following:
- Get to the bottom of the Barclay/Payplan issue and payments not getting there in time.
- Phone my creditors and get accurate figures of how much I owe.
- Do onepoll surveys if there are any!
Right I'd better crack on wiht some work.
