This is what the web site I linked to says about him:

British Guitarist Jason Carter has become a Cultural/Global Ambassador having performed in more than 70 countries, including some of the least accessible places such as North Korea, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan and Uzbekistan, often supported by the British Government. He has also received Music Awards from the Government of North Korea and the Crown Prince of Bahrain, acknowledging Jason's efforts to 'build bridges' through music.
Jason has recorded 14 CDs, and his tracks have appeared on compilations, alongside artists such as Anoushka Shankar, Barbara Streisand, Zakir Hussain, John Paul Jones, (Led Zeppelin) Joe Sariani, Steve Morse, Allan Holdsworth, John Scofield, Jeff Beck, Larry Coryell, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Ozzy Ozbourne, Trey Gunn (King Crimson) and Trilok Gurtu.

I am not really into guitar music but I like listening to his stuff!

How about guitar design T-shirt, mouse mat, belt buckle, etc.
Try http://www.guitargifts.com/ and get some ideas and see if you can find them on a UK site?

Is he an experienced player? Or just started out?

I've just started out myself, and I don't think you can really have too many strings or picks unless he has tonnes and tonnes already.

Does he have a capo? Metronome? Strap locks?

Any artists he likes that you can buy song books? I've been getting mine a bit cheaper on ebay or charity shops.

Is he interested in Guitar theory?

    http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=guitar+mug&_sacat=See-All-Categories Guitar mugs there.

Another idea could be to check out the Hard Rock Cafe store.
