Golf GTi 1.8T 2000 boot spoiler

Hi there
Does anyone know if Golf GTi's 1.8T (v reg) come with boot spoilers as standard or if they are a modification. Please be gentle, I dont have the first clue about cars, Im only asking this in case I need to declare it as a modification for insurance purposes. Also do tinted windows up the insurance quote. According to Diamond, this increases the policy price by £93?!! Ive told them about the windows before and they said its fine, but when i got the policy paperwork it wasnt on there. I rung them back about it today and now they have said about the increase.

Just asked the OH as I dont know anything about cars either and he said the spoiler is an optional extra so not a modification. he has never heard of having to advise the insurance company of tinted windows though.
