God's teeth, holw long do the Co-op wheels take to grind their way through the debit card mill?
I used it for the first time on Friday and there is still no sign of the transaction. I remember reading threads before whereby people have had to keeps notes of every expense. I am so following that advice. Advice giving people, I salute you.
Don't get me wrong, Co-op are wonderful. One of the only two banks I am aware that don't view bankrupteenies as the financial terrorists of the Banking system.
Man alive, I have to get my head around this fast. If Co-op was my boyfriend I would be willing him to go on forever, alas it is my bank account and I have just got to get used to the pace of things.

There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.

I have a co-op cash minder account. It doesnt register transactions on a weekend so Friday's should be showing on your account probably by tomorrow. I always allow 2 working days when I use my bank card. Hope this helps!0

Oh yes D! They're so slow and so old fashioned.. infact i'm sure the Coop Bank is in Beamish..Phil??
When you're used to up to the minute accounting from the bigwigs it's really difficult to get to grips with the way the Coop run the account balances. It can really slip you up if you don't note down everything. It's getting to the point where Dh and I are going to have to open new accounts and know how much money we have in our own personal accounts, it's just not safe us both using a joint acount and not knowing who is paying what each day.0 -
I have two accounts one for bills one for spending0

Yeah sensible holes
Can you apply for a second account online? 0 -
Its the only reason I am soooooo grateful that Natwest didn't close my Step account. I cannot bear the slowness of the Cashminder. I keep everything up to date anyway, but even I still miss stuff sometimes.0

The wife and i fell foul of the slow cashminder system just last week.
we received a letter saying that we were going to be charged £19.50 because they had to reject a direct debit as there was not sufficient funds in the account.
According to our online and paper statements there was money available, so when we rang them the lady on the phone said basically the system is slow and some transactions had not shown on the system on those particular dates!, and that we hadnt been charged £19.50, my reply to this was that does the black mark against us for this happening still stand, her reply was yes.
Not very happy with them at the minute, but tbh we are just grateful we have a bank account.:grouphug: hehe it always makes me chuckle0 -
