Turkish ideas

Hello All,

Starting to think of xmas like alot of you on here.

Wonder if any of you know where i can either get cards printed myself by goiving phtos & wordings or preferably order them online with turkish deigns & wording for Bayram think usually around the 8th.

Also if any1 can think of Turksih presents to get my boyfriend of 2 years, somehting he wouldn't expect that i can possibly order online or buy in Glasgow thats turkish related?

I have googled but cant seem to find anything suitable either present wise or cards?

Thanks :)

  • I love turkish apple tea and have bought boxes on ebay with the little glasses lots of times. I dont really know of any of any other turkish things but if you do, try searching ebay, often people bring things back from holiday that they neither want nor need.

I think vista print does personalised cards, im not too sure though.

  • Hi ya,

Vistaprint definately do the personalised card thing, you do it all yourself and as a first time customer you could get a massive deduction off the price. I've also been very happy with everything I have ordered from them over the years.
You could impress your other half with a Turkish message in it maybe?
As I am new here I can't post links but there is a site I use which has all the different sayings for all the different celebrations/events in Turkish. It is so useful because in Turkey there are certain things that need to be said for certain events (if you see what I mean) and Im so hopeless at trying to translate it myself using Google tools and too stubborn to ask someone to do it for me! LOL

Like others have said, Ebay is a good bet.
Efes can be found in Makro, if you have one near you.
He's bound to be a supporter of one of the big football teams maybe? You could get him something along those lines? (again from Ebay maybe?)

Good luck, let us know how you get on!
